What does the future hold for "The Club"
We only have to look over the hill and see what our future may hold.
Is it to be bargain booze and Sky repeats, day in, day out.
The Club can only continue with members support.
If you know someone, who is a member and not supporting the club weekly, can you encourage them to return for the communal benefit, of keeping a social gathering place, where all people are welcome from having to close or worse slowly lunge toward the inevitable as the committee tries all ways to try and keep the venue alive.
Could you support the committee, if not directly, then by providing constructive suggestions, that may benefit the continuance of this break from the daily routines.
This plea is made at a personal level following resent signs of desperation in keeping the business viable. The withholding of club facilities from members on Fridays, The actions on the decades old Christmas traditions of appreciation to life members and Children's Party.

ONE YEAR ON Well the club has made it through another year and has had some notable points and support along the way. Successful Footballers evenings of celebrities and presentations. Ladies Nights and co hosted Starnights.
Then there was the birthday night, though not as well supported, considering it was Friday Night, a well enjoyed and sponsored reduction event.
Despite the above, it is still a week to week event in terms of survival. Anyone who supports the Sunday Night will see the reductions in support and may well wonder how long the club can support Sunday Entertainment. If that should go and member exclusion on Friday Night, what sort of a weekend would that leave. Thankfully the annual membership is still reasonable. But additional revenue will soon need to be considered, if not for the entertainment, then for the structural maintenance and decoration.
